Our Goals

Guided by the timeless teachings of our Gurus, our goals are clear: to inspire hearts, strengthen our community, and serve humanity with humility and love.

Raising the Next Generation with Sikhi in Their Hearts

  • Cultivating a deep-rooted love and understanding of Sikhi in our children.
  • Offering structured Sikh education through Gurmat classes, Kirtan training, and Sikh history lessons.
  • Encouraging active youth participation in Seva (selfless service), Katha (spiritual discourse), and Kirtan (devotional singing).
  • Organizing youth camps, retreats, and mentorship programs to strengthen their bond with the Guru’s teachings.

Creating Sikh Awareness in San Antonio

  • Promoting Sikh visibility and fostering recognition as a vibrant and valued part of the San Antonio community.
  • Hosting community events, open houses, and cultural festivals to educate and build bridges with others.
  • Empowering Sikhs to embrace their identity proudly, wearing the dastaar (turban) and living Sikh values with confidence.

Active Participation in Interfaith & Community Engagement

  • Building meaningful relationships through active participation in interfaith dialogues and faith-based organizations.
  • Partnering with diverse communities to champion unity, acceptance, and shared humanitarian efforts.
  • Advocating for strong Sikh representation in schools, government bodies, and civic groups.

Being a Model of Seva (Selfless Service)

  • Continuing Guru Nanak Sahib Ji’s legacy of unconditional service to all, without discrimination.
  • Leading food drives, disaster relief programs, and free community meals (Langar).
  • Establishing initiatives that offer medical aid, educational support, and outreach services for those in need.
  • Inspiring the broader community to recognize the Sikh spirit of Seva, compassion, and justice.

Through these collective efforts, we are committed to upholding Sikh values, empowering the next generation, and contributing positively to the San Antonio community and beyond.
